HS170 can be added into TPU、
TPV、TPE and other polymers like
EPDM、PE、PVC、PC、ABS to
provide property like anti
abrasion、noise reduction and dirt
resistance eth .
Typical application includes:
weather strips, side molding, glass
run channels, head and arm rests,
dashboards, synthetic leather,
various sheets, table cloths, floor
material (top coat), luxury garden
hoses, hoses for household electric
appliances, anti-abrasion cable etc.

PACKAGE
The typical package is 10kg cartons with plastic
liner.
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
• Wear eye protection, protective gloves and mask
at all times when working with this product.
• Maintain adequate ventilation in the work area at
all times.
STORAGE
When stored below 35°C (122°F), HS170 series
products has a shelf life of 12 months from
manufacture.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does
not necessarily mean that the product is no longer
usable. In this case however, the properties required
for the intended use must be checked for quality
assurance reasons.
APPLICATION
• Improve anti-abrasion and scratch resistance
• Decrease and eliminate the friction noise
• Prevent stickiness and stain of the surface
• Create long lasting slippery property onto the surfaces of resins
• Improve mold release and anti-block property
HOW TO USE
• Dosage: depending on the requirements of effects
such as hand feel, wear and scratch resistance
properties, the dosage of HS170 silicone - acrylate
copolymer is about 1.0 - 10.0% of the formulation.
• Three - roll mill or sand mill can be used to
facilitate the dispersion of HS170 in paints and inks
application, and ultrasonic dispersion device is
more effective.
• Twin - screw extruder or internal mixer are
recommended to be used to disperse HS170 into the
polymers
